111: Wait a Minute: It’s Stopped Raining

Regular readers (and if you’re not, why not?) will know that I have been abandoned by my human beans who have evidently gone to see their son in Singapaw, leaving me with daughter and family.

I have been my usual non-communicative and non-cooperative self but they have continued to feed me and try to take me for walks.

In fact, rather like that old comic song Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh by Allan Sherman, things are turning out OK.  I’m almost enjoying myself.  Certainly I can’t fault the service I’ve received.  I’ve been pampered, preened, paraded and promenaded. I’ve even relented a little by showing some vague pleasure at the level of service offered.

Of course I still want MY beans back but these temporary  ones will do just fine for now.
