156: Not Again

I had to go to the vet again this week.  When  I say ‘had to’, of course I mean my human beans took me … I had no say in the matter. It was what the beans call a ‘routine visit’ but it involved one of the baby vets (for they are all very young - but presumably fully qualified) stabbing me with a dangerous (if not lethal), sharp implement.  This process is evidently called an injection and it is supposed to stop me getting ‘kennel cough’, though, since I never visit kennels, it all seems a little unnecessary.

When my beans had injections, it was part of a pandemic - a worldwide, rapid spread of a disease. As far as I know there is no kennel cough pandemic - so why did I have to be injected?

I’ve mentioned before the ‘one law for dogs, another for humans’ syndrome.  This is yet another example of how we dogs are discriminated against.  Where is the European Court on Doggy Rights, the UN, orThe RSPCA, or the Kennel Club?   Who is fighting for dogs?

What do we want?  FREEDOM from BEING STABBED

When do we want it?    NOW!
