103: Its an Ill Wind

My feet are getting rather furry again. About two months after a grooming session (think ‘trim’) they (my feet) start to resemble a Hobbit’s.  My beans then start to think about the next grooming session.

Thankfully it takes them quite a few weeks to act on those thoughts but eventually a man in a van comes and does unspeakable things to me so that I look smarter (and younger).

Well, at the moment we have lots of works going on in street - laying new water pipes.

Actually that’s not correct.  We have no works going on.  We have the holes and the barriers left over from the works but those works seemed to have ceased.

Oddly, one side of the street has had their holes filled in - I guess they pay their water bills.

Our side hasn’t.  Whenever I go for a walk, I have to navigate an obstacle course.  It’s a good job I’m nimble and sure-footed.

Anyway, this means that my beans cannot book the man with the van to come and groom me (isn’t that what perverts do on Facebook?) because there is nowhere within range of a power supply for him to park.

I imagine that by the time the holes do get filled in, I’ll be more Yeti than Hobbit.  I’m looking forward to it. I could look quite trendy!
