102: Frightening
Many of you will know that I am a very nervous dog. If you don’t, you should re-read this blog from the first post.
TOWTSH can be a kind man. For her birthday he bought TOWTLH a ticket to a private viewing of an exhibition at Harewood house about someone called Princess Mary. (TOWTSH sometimes calls me’ Princess’ but I don’t have an exhibition about me. (Yet!))
She went yesterday with a friend. (In fact, TOWTSH took her and dropped them both off.)
Ax I said, sometimes he is a kind man.
But, the corollary is that sometimes he is not.
Mid-morning he took me to Harewood to allegedly take me for a walk, have a picnic and the pick up the ladies to bring them home.
A good plan?
Well, yesterday was the last day of the school half-term break - and was a beautiful sunny day. Harewood was packed.
As he opened the boot of the car to let me out i heard the noise of thousands of children (well, it seemed like it?). shouting, running, playing, laughing, squealing - you get the picture .... and the soundtrack.
I trembled and refused to get out. After being enticed out, I simply refused to go anywhere near the hordes of unruly children.
We did have a walk in an empty field but we kept going near the hordes, the crowds, the masses and that noise! It was terrifying.
So, I have no love for Princess Mary, She laid the trap.
I have no love left for TOWTSH, he led me in to the trap.
Never again …. please!
