178: To the Scaffold

An odd collection of poles has been constructed at the back of our house.  From what I overheard, this is called ‘scaffolding’.

When my beans were out yesterday, I managed to get hold of the laptop computer  and talk to my friend Gugull.  I only had a minute (the beans were only out locally) so what I managed to find out was limited.

It seems though a scaffold is a construction used in the legal killing of a human bean - a process known as hanging.  It looks as though my beans are looking to kill someone.

I guess they got the idea from ‘Ratman’, a guy the street (collectively) has employed to rid themselves of rats - creatures which, for some inexplicable reason, seem to annoy and frighten human beans.  But I guess if you can kill rats because you don’t like them, then why not humans.

So if any of you reading this have annoyed or offended my beans, you might be the target.

You have been warned!
