214: The Complaints Go On

I know I said I would try and complain less but the world simply conspires against me.

I am, by now, a middle-aged dog and tend to sleep quite a lot. I would probably sleep more if TOWTSH didn’t take me out for walks so often - though I have got him trained to expect short walks only except for the main morning walk (in the park) and the last walk of the day when he won’t let me in until I ‘toilet myself’

Unfortunately, at the moment, our next door neighbours are having some building work done  - quite extensive building work judging by the time it is taking.   Building is not a quiet activity. in fact, at times it is very noisy - painfully noisy.  The house (our house) vibrates and shakes, along with my bed - and even my teeth.

Under this duress, sleep is impossible.   It’s been 3 months now - and shows no sign of stopping.

What can they be doing?  Greatly disturbing me is the correct answer.

I know they (the builders) probably aren’t aware of all my previous traumas but they could read this blog.  Then, surely, they would be more considerate and tone down the noise.  I know my beans hate it too - but they can go out and leave it behind.  I’m in the vibrating, shaking house for most of the day.
