52: Access Denied

TOWTSH spends a lot of time on his computer.

This seems strange since he describes himself as ’nearly retired’. What strange work does he do, and why does he need so much computer assistance?

I have been watching him for a few days and I have discovered that:

he tweets every day on multiple Twitter accounts (though I am still unclear as to what ‘tweeting’ is - in a non-orthinological context.

he receives lots of emails - from all over the world …. from  the Amazon, from Nigerian princes, from Albanian gentlemen, from American supporters of ex-President Trump, from Swiss banks and so on.

he is a school governor (whatever that is) and receives lots of basic messages about whether the school is open or whether it is closing.

he gets the occasional message about his business

he writes a weekly blog (as I do, of course)

he tries to write songs (though why someone who can’t sing would want to write songs escapes me)

All of this results in him spending lots of time on his computer.

This is only a problem because I need the computer to write my blog.  For some reason I need to  be at the computer when I think as well as when I type.  My typing is slow but relatively accurate. (TOWTSH uses the backspace and delete keys much more than I do.)

I am trying to think of strategies to get him away from the computer when I need it. 

Any suggestions would be very welcome.
