136: Pardon?

I’ve been to the vet’s for s check on my ear infection. It’s not clearing up as fast as expected. (This is a common problem for spaniels because our long, floppy (and moist) ears are a natural breeding ground for bugs and germs.

So, I’ve been given an injection (deep in my ear) of a long-lasting antibiotic.

The net result is I’m a little deaf.

 If you speak to me in the street and I don’t respond with my normal joy and enthusiasm, its because I didn’t hear you. I’m not ignoring you - unless you are John Hornby, of course.

I go back to see the vet in a few weeks when, hopefully, normal circumstances (and hearing) will be restored.
