19: Keeping Warm

My human beans are quite old - over 70 anyway.  This means they moan about lots of little aches and pains, they moan about almost everything the government does or decides and they feel the cold.

Any of you living in the UK will know that over the last week the temperature dropped several degrees.  My beans ran to find jumpers and cardigans to add to their body weight and warmth.  As a result, they both smell of ‘cupboard’.

Of course, their usable winter clothing has been decimated by time, by moths, and by style changes.  Not only do they smell of cupboard but they look like charity shops.

They can’t get out to buy new supplies - though they can buy online (whatever that means).  “Which button do I press now?”

This is just a plea that if you see them outdoors, please be sympathetic, don’t laugh …. and don’t offer style advice.  Its too late for them!
