68: Have You Seen Him?

The people who live next door to us are exceedingly kind.  they often give me a  biscuit or other treat - and theirs is the one house I will happily walk into besides my own.

However, recently something terrible has happened.

They appear to have got a dog. I think its called ’No’. I haven’t seen it yet but I have heard my beans talking about it and I have heard next door shouting “No” at strange times of the day.

I just hope that they don’t give all my treats to this new dog just because its theirs - or I hope they are rich enough to be able to afford treats for both of us.

As Professor Chris Whitty has been telling us fo®r months … “These are trying times”.

Naturally I will keep you (my loyal readers) updated as matters progress. - assuming i have the strength - in the face of declining numbers of treats, of course.
