172: Its Bl**!y Hot

Summer. Not for me

When you wear a fur coat (as I do), it gets uncomfortable as the temperature rises.  This last week might have been good for Wimbledon snd the Test Match, but not for dogs.

Worse.  TOWTSH still expects me to gov for walks …. But I’ve expended all my energy just panting to try and stay cool.  I look at him appealingly or disappointedly (depending on my mood and his expectations) but he simply waves my lead and says “Time for a walk”.

Who do I report him to?

 I don’t want to be cruel.   I believe he means well.  He’s just misguided.  Where is his empathy?

I try to walk as slowly as possible.  (Some of you will have seen this snd been impressed).   But I’m not sure what else I can do.
